Dr Becker is happy to arrange for her courses to be interpreted by BSL sign interpreters for delegates who are D/deaf or hard of hearing. Dr Becker’s interpreters are qualified to Level 3 BSL and are familiar with the material in all of her courses.
Partially sighted delegates
The majority of the handouts for Dr Becker’s courses are produced in large print, and can be produced in a variety of formats and font sizes for partially sighted delegates.
Dyslexia
Whilst not an expert in the diagnosis of dyslexia, Dr Becker is in a position to offer advice on practical solutions to help overcome the hurdles created by both word blindness and organisational dyslexia. Some general discussion of dyslexia may be included in a course, and one-to-one sessions allow for a more in depth discussion of the help and technological support available for delegates in this position.
